Patrick began his martial arts journey as a Freestyle and Roman-Greco wrestler actively competing in regional and provincial tournaments. He has spent the last 15 years training in BJJ and is a Black Belt under Team Ascension (Professor Omar Salvosa), Carlson Gracie Canada. He is also a certified OJA referee.

He has competed and won tournaments in both Canada and the United States in multiple organizations including IBJJF, OJA, Grapplers Industry, NAGA and Grapplers Quest.

2019 – Ontario Open Masters Black Belt Light – Bronze Medalist
2017 – IBJJF World Masters Jiu-Jitsu Championship Brown Belt Feather – Silver Medalist
2016 – Pan AMs No-GI Championship Masters Brown Belt Absolute – Gold Medalist
2015 – Ontario BJJ Provincial Championship Masters Purple Belt – Light Weight – Gold Medalist
2015 – Grappling Industries No-Gi Masters Advanced Light Weight – Gold Medalist
