James began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2008 in Newmarket, Ontario. He currently holds the rank of 1st Degree Blackbelt under Professor Fernando Zulick of Team Action and Reaction/ Cicero Costha. James has had the privilege to train with some of the sport’s top athletes along the way and is an active competitor on the local and international scene.
